BTC shows the prospect of consolidating below $79,000, having given several signals since the evening. First of all, this is the transition into a stable downtrend on the 2-hour timeframe. At the same time, there is a prospect of moving into a stable downtrend also on the 2.5-hour timeframe. This candle will close in an hour; we’ll see how it develops for the remaining time.

We don’t abandon our plans — if the price enters a sustained downtrend on the 3-hour timeframe, most likely we’ll add to the short and raise the average entry point again. Although the price is holding noticeably above the level of $75,761 (in our assessment, this separates the bearish and bullish market regimes) — taking into account the already two marks of a potential high on the 3-day timeframe, we will be waiting for a more noticeable pullback.

The short target is the same — considering the inflated position, we would like to fully close the short in a positive break-even. And then reopen the short with a much smaller size from more favorable positions.

In the medium term, we expect a decline, not an increase, and we will wait for a decent correction to start accumulating long-term positions across a number of assets. Everything unchanged.
