Online financial advertising is not banned, but if you want to do marketing via WeChat Public, livestreams, short videos… then you must go through a legal platform/account belonging to a financial organization.
Most importantly: anyone doing marketing must be an employee of the financial organization, qualified, and licensed by the organization.
In other words, the era of:

may be about to turn into:
