$PONS pulled back.
As long as this Robinhood narrative keeps running hot, PONS, as the current leader, reaching a $1B market cap is only a matter of time in my opinion.
What I’m really worried about now is whether PONS’s team can hold up once it actually gets to $1B.
A market cap rising too fast is also a test for the team: management, security, ecosystem, and whether they can keep coming up with new things down the road — none of these can slip.
After all, the PONS team hasn’t really put up any especially impressive results before, so that’s something to keep an eye on.
That said, if PONS really can become a core project in the Robinhood ecosystem later on, then the resources Robinhood has should be able to make up for a lot of its shortcomings.
So I’m actually not that worried about this pullback. What really matters is whether the team can carry this project forward from here.
