BTC currently accounts for 59.63% of the total market cap of the top 125 crypto assets, equivalent to about $1.60T out of a total market cap of $2.68T.
Looking at the current market share:
• BTC: 59.63%
• ETH: 11.36%
• USDT: 6.84%
• BNB: 3.71%
• XRP: 3.29%
• USDC: 2.78%
• SOL: 2.30%
• TRON: 1.19%
• Hyperliquid: 0.81%
• Zcash: 0.75%
• Others: 7.93%
The notable point is that BTC is taking nearly 60% of the entire market, while Solana is only about 2.30%, BNB 3.71%, and XRP 3.29%.
In other words, despite altcoins having thousands of projects, most of the market cap is still concentrated in Bitcoin.
