Trump said the CFTC is looking to bring Hyperliquid into the US market under a “fully compliant and legal” model.
It is highly likely that the US will not open directly to the current version of Hyperliquid. Instead, HYPE and the perpetual system may be accessed through regulated institutions such as Bitnomial or Kraken, along with KYC, custody controls, sanctions, and leverage limits.
Notably, Bitnomial has self-certified the HYPEUSD futures contract with the CFTC since April 2026.
