🚨 $XRP LEDGER: FEWER ACCOUNTS, BUT MUCH MORE VOLUME PER USER

The $XRP Ledger (XRPL) saw an important change in the second quarter of 2026: the number of accounts taking part in trading fell, but the volume moved by each participant increased significantly.

📊 Daily volume on the order book reached 3.57 million XRP, up 79% compared with the same period last year.

At the same time, the accounts initiating trades dropped from 1,864 to 1,111 per day. As a result, average volume per account nearly tripled, rising from 1,072 to 3,217 XRP per day.

🔹 81% of DEX volume came from the order book, versus 54% a year earlier
🔹 Total DEX volume reached 4.42 million XRP/day
🔹 Average value held on XRPL reached US$4.26 billion
🔹 Average RLUSD balance reached US$539 million, up 642% in a year

💰 RLUSD growth is especially relevant. The volume moved by the stablecoin increased 925% compared with the previous year, reinforcing the expansion of liquidity around the ecosystem.

The most interesting data point, however, is concentration: fewer participants are moving larger amounts of XRP. This may indicate greater participation from professional traders, market makers, or automated operations, although the data does not allow us to say exactly who is behind this volume.

📈 In short: XRPL is processing more value per participant, while the stablecoin and tokenized asset infrastructure continues to grow.

👀 The question now is whether this liquidity concentration will be accompanied by sustainable growth in the user base and network activity.
