There’s a sentence I’ve remembered for a long time, and today it came back to me.

The gambler’s fallacy teaches a simple truth:
Five straight down days do not mean the sixth day should rise. The market has no memory, but you do. That feeling of “I should be able to win it back now” is the psychological starting point for averaging down, and also the beginning of liquidation.

Take today’s $ZEC as an example: now 984.90, 24h +14.10%. This kind of price action happens to confirm the point above. It’s not coincidence; it’s human nature repeating itself on the chart.

Looking back, all the mistakes are written in that sentence.
Wait for the signal, not for the mood.
