bStocks or regular stocks through a broker? I see the difference right here 👇
If you’re already trading crypto, bStocks can seem like a very logical format. But that doesn’t mean they’re automatically better than a classic brokerage account.
I’d compare it like this:
🏦 Classic stocks
→ a traditional broker
→ standard stock exchange hours
→ usually you need to buy a whole or fractional share depending on the broker
→ a familiar structure of stock ownership
🔗 bStocks
→ Binance crypto infrastructure
→ the ability to trade 24/7
→ access to fractional positions
→ a tokenized format of exposure to traditional assets
For me, the main advantage of bStocks is convenience.
If most of my capital is already in crypto, getting exposure to TradFi without switching to another ecosystem sounds interesting.
But if my main goal is long-term, classic stock ownership, then a broker may still be the more natural choice.
So I wouldn’t ask “which one is better?”
The better question is:
“Which of these tools do I need for which task?”
That, in my opinion, is what a normal approach to diversification looks like.
