Great traders know how to set boundaries for themselves. The greatest danger in trading is having no clear bottom line. One small exception today, then a small add-on tomorrow—before you know it, the rules gradually stop working. A mature trader draws the lines in advance: what they can do and what they absolutely won’t touch. No matter how enticing the market looks, if it’s not yours, don’t do it. If you can’t understand it, allow yourself to say, “I don’t understand.” Forcing your way in is what’s dangerous. This trading road isn’t a lonely one.
