🔔 Alert: Polygon quietly patched a series of severe security vulnerabilities!

Polygon’s team has just released details on fixing multiple previously undisclosed vulnerabilities through two network upgrades, Austin and Kyoto. These issues are located in the Bor and Heimdall clients, and could lead to denial-of-service risks or cause validator nodes to run out of resources.

Technical details:
📍 Vulnerability: Bor and Heimdall client
📍 Risk: Denial-of-service attacks, network node crashes, disruption to block processing
📍 Status: Fully patched; not yet exploited on the mainnet

Looking further: Polygon’s proactive patching before public disclosure shows a fairly rigorous risk management process. However, it also reminds us that even large networks always have potential "weak spots." Thankfully, everything was handled in time this time, preventing an unnecessary network shutdown.

What do you think about Polygon’s current security level? Is this a good sign for long-term stability?
