đ¨ BTC at this level is very critical! Break out or a fakeout? After youç this chart, youâll understand.
Let me first share my take:
BTC is currently repeatedly testing around 78,000. 79,500 above is a strong resistance in the short term, while 76,800 below is structural support.
If, on a 4-hour timeframe, price breaks out and holds above 79,500 with increased volume, it will very likely move up to the prior high area around 82,000;
If it breaks below 76,800 and the rebound canât reclaim that level, then the short-term trend will turn weak, with support at 74,500.
My reasoning:
1ď¸âŁ After touching 79,500 three times in a row, long upper wicks appeared each time, suggesting real sell pressure overhead;
2ď¸âŁ But on each pullback near 76,800, thereâs buying support, and the lows are getting higherâthis is a sign that the bulls are still defending;
3ď¸âŁ Regarding volume: rallies on expanding volume and pullbacks on contracting volume so farâthere are no obvious signs of large-scale distribution.
So my trading plan is:
¡ Donât chase. Wait for the breakout above 79,500, then consider entering only after the pullback confirmation on the right side;
¡ If it breaks below 76,800 directly, I wonât rush to buy the dipâwait to see structure stabilize around 74,500;
¡ Keep position sizing within 30%, set a stop-loss, and donât bet on only one direction.
â ď¸ Note: The above is just my personal review and technical analysis and does not constitute investment advice. The market can be disrupted anytime by newsâlike tonightâs unemployment benefits data, make sure to keep an eye on it.
How much of your position is currently allocated? At this level, would you wait for a breakout, or wait for a pullback?
