Crypto Report | 29 August As Bitcoin entered the weekend in the 77–78K range, significant changes were seen in macro and institutional flows. 👇 Highlights: ▪️ The 9-day positive streak in US spot Bitcoin ETFs ended. Approximately $202 million in net outflows occurred on Friday. ▪️ In August, total net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs remained at around $3.3 billion despite the most recent outflow. ▪️ Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh said at Jackson Hole that inflation is the Fed’s top priority and that there is “work to be done” to reach the 2% target. ▪️ Following Warsh’s hawkish remarks, expectations for a rate hike strengthened, and bond yields rose. ▪️ Six Bitcoin wallets that had been inactive for more than 10 years carried about 553.6 $BTC (around $40 million). Transfers from five wallets did not go to known exchange addresses. ▪️ According to Galaxy Research, old/dormant Bitcoin activity fell to the lowest level since 2022 in Q2.
