NOTICE: Since we’re going to accelerate the series now, this will be a single post covering Days 5, 6, and 7, while keeping the challenge’s continuous narrative.
📊 3 days that show exactly what it’s like to invest in crypto
If someone thinks investing in cryptocurrencies is just picking a coin and watching the chart go up, these last few days were a good reminder of reality.
My journey started with:
💰 US$ 26,00
Goal:
🎯 US$ 100+
And in the last three days, the portfolio did exactly what the crypto market usually does:
📈 went up
📉 fell
📈 tried to recover
🟢 DAY 5 — SMALL GAINS ALSO COUNT
On Day 5, the portfolio reached:
$26.61
A positive result of approximately 2.34% over the initial capital.
The highlight was realizing that all three theses were still alive:
🔵 $ONDO — exposure to the RWA narrative
🟢 $SUI — infrastructure and ecosystem growth
🟣 $VIRTUAL — AI and autonomous agents
But there’s a trap here.
When the portfolio starts going up, it’s very easy to believe that every decision was perfect.
It wasn’t.
A single positive day doesn’t validate a strategy.
Just like a single negative day doesn’t destroy a thesis.
The focus is still consistency, not emotion.
🔴 DAY 6 — AND THE MARKET REMEMBERED WHO’S IN CHARGE
The next day, the correction came.
The portfolio dropped to:
$25.67
📉 An approximately -3.49% daily change.
And here is one of the most important parts of this challenge.
I could simply ignore a red day and appear again when everything was green.
But that isn’t the goal.
I want to document the real journey.
Crypto doesn’t go up in a straight line.
And when the market drops, the tough questions show up:
🤔 You see?
🤔 Buy more?
🤔 Wait?
🤔 Did my thesis change?
My answer right now was:
Don’t make an emotional decision.
A drop isn’t automatically an opportunity.
But it doesn’t automatically mean it’s time to sell either.
First you analyze. Then you decide.
🟣 DAY 7 — THE RECOVERY
On Day 7, the portfolio went back to:
$26.38
A partial recovery after the previous day.
We haven’t reached anything extraordinary yet.
And that’s exactly what makes this experiment interesting.
In just 7 days, we already had:
📈 growth
📉 correction
📈 recovery
Exactly like what happens in a real portfolio.
📊 SUMMARY OF THE LAST 3 DAYS
🟢 Day 5: $26.61
🔴 Day 6: $25.67
🟣 Day 7: $26.38
Initial capital:
$26.00
Current situation at the end of this cycle:
$26.38
We’re still far from $100.
But the goal was never to get rich in a week.
The goal is to test an idea:
Can a small portfolio, tracked daily and built on strong narratives, grow with discipline?
It’s still too early to answer.
But one thing has already become clear:
🔥 Volatility isn’t an unexpected issue in the challenge.
It’s part of the challenge.
🎯 MY BIGGEST LESSON SO FAR
The smaller the portfolio, the greater the temptation to make desperate moves to try to speed up the result.
That’s exactly what I want to avoid
I don’t want to turn $26 into a casino bet.
I want to look for opportunities.
Study trends.
Follow the news.
And adjust the strategy when there are real reasons to do so.
🚀 THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
$26.00 → $26.38 → $100+
We’re still at the beginning.
And now I want to know from you:
👇 In a drop like Day 6, what would your reaction be?
A) Sell
B) Buy more
C) Wait and analyze
D) Depends on the coin
