But I’d rather say that what truly determines whether an account can grow isn’t how much profit you make on any one trade—it’s whether you have a set of rules that you can execute consistently over the long term.
① Don’t put all your funds in at once
For example, if you have 2,400 USDT, split it into three portions.
One portion is for short-term trades—only take opportunities you truly understand;
One portion is for trend trades—specifically wait for real major moves;
Leave the remaining portion as “life insurance” and don’t move it lightly.
That way, even if you make the wrong call, you still have a chance to start again.
② Don’t turn “diligence” into frequent trading
In the crypto market, opportunities worth acting on are actually not that many.
Most of the time it’s range-bound movement—testing, probing, and stop-hunt traps.
Staring at the chart all day, placing dozens of orders a day—looks like you’re working hard, but in the end you might just end up paying more and more in fees.
A truly good trade isn’t about how many orders you place,
but about daring to act when you should, and daring to stay flat when there’s no setup.
③ Set the rules first, then enter the trade
Before opening a position, work out your stop loss. If you’re wrong, admit it and cut.
When you reach your target, take profit in batches.
After a loss, don’t try to赌 it back by adding to the position and averaging down.
If you want to grow a small account, it’s not about one big reversal.
It’s about controlling risk, staying patient to wait for opportunities, and then slowly compounding those small wins one after another.
