August 28, 2026 | Today’s Market Analysis: BTC Reclaims $80,000, as ENA Begins to Take the Lead
This morning, $BTC reclaimed the $80,000 level again, up about 3% over the past 24 hours; $ETH is around $2,510, with a modest gain. The more noticeable change comes from altcoins: $ENA surged more than 25.9%, while XRP and HYPE also moved higher in tandem. Capital has finally shifted from BTC and ETH toward higher-volatility assets.
The momentum from last night was driven by AI stocks. On the second day after Nvidia’s earnings release, it jumped 8.7%, lifting the Nasdaq by 1.57% and the S&P 500 by 0.72%. The market once again confirmed that AI investment hasn’t slowed down, and tech-stock risk appetite naturally spilled over into Crypto.
On Wednesday, U.S. BTC ETFs saw net inflows of about $232 million, marking the eighth consecutive day of buying. Cumulatively, inflows in this round are about $2.8 billion. After several attempts to break through $80,000, ETFs still managed to absorb the demand—this rally is no longer just short-covering.
However, the 30-year U.S. Treasury yield is still hovering around 5.19%, and oil prices have also risen again. Just because investors are willing to chase AI and Crypto doesn’t mean macro pressure has disappeared.
Today, first watch whether BTC can hold the $80,000–$80,600 range.
As long as it holds, the momentum may continue to spread to SOL and major altcoins—there may be an opportunity to set up positions a bit.
If it falls back below $78,500, last night’s rally looks more like short-term sentiment fueled by the earnings catalyst.
