Yesterday I did what I told you not to do—I broke my own rules.

I opened the deal against my own plan, and for that I paid with a stop. Here’s what happens when the market gets boring and you start looking for reasons to enter a trade.

This is what happens, and on this very psychology the market often plays.

I didn’t notice my full setup, and instead of simply stepping away from the charts and ending the day, I started making up a reason to enter the trade—and here’s the result. That’s why psychology is so important in trading.

My yesterday’s scenario for me remains relevant going forward. On $SOL we can see liquidity being pulled from the highs—now I will be expecting a price drop, and only then I’ll look again for confirmations and for the formation of my setup.

Not recommendations—just my view of the market!

So sometimes the hardest thing isn’t figuring out where the price will move—you’ll never know that for sure. The difficult part is the task of simply staying on the sidelines if something is unclear to you, or when you start looking for reasons to enter.

Have you had situations like this, and how often do they repeat?
