Metaplanet has just transferred additional value of $80 million in Bitcoin. The Bitcoin vault giant also moved 1,000 $BTC , worth approximately $79.77 million, to Coinbase Prime before 9 hours.
The company accumulated 43,000 BTC at an average buy price of about $96,191, so this latest transaction represents roughly 2.3% of its total holdings.
But there is an important detail: a Coinbase Prime deposit does not automatically mean that #Metaplanet is being sold. Prime also provides institutional custody and financing, so this could be merely a custody action or part of treasury management.
However, transferring 1,000 #BTC in one batch is definitely something the market will watch. There is no confirmed sale yet... just a very large BTC transfer.
