BIS and IMF (Project Agorá)

The Bank for International Settlements (BIS), together with 7 central banks and more than 40 financial institutions, completed the “Real Value Testing” of Project Agorá. The project validates the technical feasibility of atomic settlement in cross-border transactions using commercial deposits and tokenized reserves.

This requires structured financial messaging under the ISO 20022 standard, where protocols such as $XRP , $XLM and Quant’s interoperability layer ($QNT ) position themselves as bridging infrastructure.
