Has the semiconductor sector cooled down?
Recently, when watching the market, I feel like the semiconductor I’ve been watching for a long time has started to lose some of its heat.
If you look at the Taiwan stocks in the semiconductor industry supply chain, you can feel it a lot.
Tech blue-chip stocks aren’t as strong as they were a while ago. Instead, capital has started flowing into sectors like plastics and chemicals and shipping. Even some traditional industries have started running ahead.
The U.S. market has a similar flavor too.
Energy stocks have been more resilient than the overall market lately, and medical stocks are slowly starting to get noticed as well.
I think this kind of rotation is definitely worth watching.
Because after an industry has risen for a long stretch, the market’s money will eventually start looking elsewhere for opportunities.
