It’s Sunday evening now, not many people are watching the order book. Everyone feels it’s garbage time with no direction.
As a result, BTC got dumped down to 75,546, but now it’s pulled back to 77,488.
With an $1.111 billion trading volume, that’s really not small for a Sunday.
If it could drop to 75,546 and then come back up, it means there’s money underneath still stepping in.
The RSI has recovered from the oversold zone back to 46—not strong, but the direction is pointing upward.
The MACD short-term bullish crossover has just barely started to show.
MA5 is at 76,800, MA20 at 75,900, and the price is trading above both.
Most of the short positions were swept out on the rebound, which is why the bounce is so smooth.
The daily chart isn’t that optimistic, though. The high at 77,766 pressed down all day and wasn’t broken.
There are buyers underneath and sellers overhead, with chop in the middle.
75,546 is today’s panic low, and it’s the most solid support in my eyes.
77,766 is today’s high—before it breaks through, I can’t say a trend reversal has happened.
My own trades: I went long around 76,800, cut half at 77,766, and the remaining position’s stop loss is set at 75,400.
ETH is stronger than BTC today. It pulled back from 2,356 to 2,459, up 1.20%.
Trading volume is 774 million; compared with BTC, ETH’s “buyer support” is stronger.
AAVE is the most impressive: it surged 12.92%. The volume at 39 million isn’t huge, but it was enough to push the price up.
This kind of sudden run-up is most common when liquidity is thin—let’s see tomorrow whether it can hold above 140.
Today’s lesson: On Sundays, big bullish candles and big bearish candles can both be fake. Liquidity is too thin—don’t rush to believe it.
Hold 40% of the position. If 75,546 breaks, then exit.
