$DYM DYM As well as DYMENSION (CRYPTO Token) DYM is the native token of Dymension, a blockchain project that aims to create a network of rollups that can communicate with each other using IBC protocol. Rollups are a way of scaling blockchains by moving some computations off the main chain, while still maintaining security and verifiability. Dymension allows developers to create their own rollups, called RollApps, that can offer fast, cheap, and customized transactions for different use cases. Dymension also provides a liquidity layer and a data market for RollApps, making it easier for users to access and exchange tokens across the network. An example of a RollApp that could be built on Dymension is a decentralized exchange (DEX) that offers low fees, high throughput, and cross-chain compatibility. Another example is a gaming platform that uses rollups to handle complex game logic and reward players with DYM tokens. DYM tokens can be used to pay for fees, access services, and participate in governance on the Dymension network. DYM tokens are currently traded as IOUs on XT exchange, meaning that they are not the actual tokens, but placeholders that can be redeemed later when the Dymension mainnet launches.
