🚨 63% of Americans say Trump’s cryptocurrency profits are inappropriate
According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, 63% of Americans believe Trump and his family earned profits from cryptocurrencies while he was still in office—while only 32% think it is appropriate.
🇺🇸 Republicans: 69% say it is appropriate
🔵 Democrats: 92% say it is inappropriate
Notably, 69% of poll respondents also believe that Trump’s business interests affect his decisions.
Reuters estimates that Trump made more than $1.4 billion from activities related to cryptocurrencies in 2025.
The White House: “There is no conflict of interest.”
CT: “Bro, the blockchain keeps the receipts.” 💀
In my opinion, this is the most interesting point to watch: cryptocurrencies can benefit from a sector-friendly administration, but the question of conflict of interest will only grow larger over time.
A positive step toward adopting cryptocurrencies, or a political risk waiting to blow up? 👀
