#binancep2pantoan P2P situations when the money has already been deposited into the account, but it’s not Tet yet, guys.
A few days ago, I made a P2P transaction worth 500 USDT.
The money had already been transferred into my bank account; everything initially seemed completely normal.
But then I noticed one detail:
The name of the person who transferred the money doesn’t match the billing account information shown in the Binance P2P order.
The buyer explained that they asked someone else’s account to make the transfer.
That explanation could be true.
However, the name of the transfer sender still doesn’t match the information in the Binance order. I didn’t release the funds. The money isn’t necessarily safe yet. It has to match 100% with the order—only then is it considered valid. Because if they file a complaint with the bank saying they transferred by mistake, I’ll also get into trouble since I can’t cross-check what purpose that transferred amount was meant for.
Once there’s a mismatch, I stop and don’t accept any additional money, and I report it... then my funds get put on hold. After support and proving that the person who transferred the money is actually the buyer, the transaction only gets completed. It’s a bit troublesome and annoying, but I think my bank account is safe. I’m also afraid of getting put on some anti-money-laundering list...
Just a bit safer, and less stress later.
PS: $PUMP saved me one round when $BTW charged in without time to enter.
