One time I sold USDT on a weekend night. The order matched with a buyer who said they needed it urgently to make some payment on time—the tone was quite rushed from the start. Normally, when I encounter that kind of impatience, I’m always wary, but I noticed their profile had badges and a high completion rate, so I still accepted the order. I only reminded myself to slow down and go through each step carefully.

A few minutes later, they sent me a transfer screenshot, saying that the bank “processes slowly on weekends,” so the money might arrive late, and asking me to unlock it in advance to make the deadline. I stuck to my usual rule: I wouldn’t unlock just because of a screenshot. I opened the banking app to check for real, and saw that not a single coin had been credited yet. I replied in the platform chat, clearly stating that I would wait until I saw the actual funds. Whether it was the weekend or a weekday, the rule was the same.

They went quiet for a while, and then the money came in—exactly the right amount, and the name matched the order. Only then did I unlock it. After that, I took screenshots of the order and the chat as I always do, because you never know when you might need to cross-reference later.

I realized something: the more someone tries to push the timeline, the more you should slow down and check carefully—not the other way around.
