Open the Binance registration pagehttps://www.binance.com/zh-CN/join?ref=WIN98. Many people’s first reaction is confusion—the whole page has only a single input field labeled “Email/Phone number,” a “Register” button beneath it, and then further down there are “Continue with Google,” “Continue with Apple,” and “Continue with Telegram.” Where’s the invitation code field, then?

Many tutorials still stick to the old interface, saying “click to open the registration page, fold out the recommended code area, and fill it in.” But if you follow the instructions, you won’t find it. The answer is simple: the invitation code isn’t on the registration page—instead, it’s on the page after you finish registering. The system will ask whether you were referred by someone; choose “Yes,” and then the field for entering the code will appear. Enter “WIN98,” and then the fee will be calculated at an 80% (8折) rate.

Next, I’ll list the six fields you’ll encounter throughout the whole process in the exact order they appear, one by one. For each field, I’ll mark the exact wording shown on the screen—match it exactly.

📝 Register the six fields—match them one by one in the order they appear

① Account type
▸ Interface text: Personal account / Business account. Also at the bottom of the first screen there’s a line that says “Create a business account or log in”
▸ How to fill: Personal users choose personal account
▸ Pitfall: After registering, the account type cannot be changed—don’t accidentally tap into the business account. Business accounts require company documents.

② Email / Mobile number
▸ Interface text: The input field label is “Email / Mobile Number”—they share the same field. If you enter from the Binance homepage, the button says【Register Now】
▸ How to fill: Enter your email or mobile number directly— the system will detect it automatically. If it’s a mobile number, you must first select the country dialing code on the left
▸ Pitfall: If you can’t receive SMS, switch to email. The delivery rate for the email route is clearly more reliable

③ Accept the Terms of Service
▸ Interface text: (Terms of Service) and (Privacy Policy). Also, at the bottom of the first screen there’s a line that says “By creating an account, you agree to the Binance Privacy Statement.”
▸ How to fill: Read through it, check the box, then tap【Next】
▸ Pitfall: If you don’t check it, 【Next】 will be greyed out and you can’t tap it

④ Verification code
▸ Interface text: When you register an email or phone number, you’ll receive a 6-digit verification code. After entering it, tap 【Submit】
▸ How to fill: Valid for 30 minutes—if it expires, request it again
▸ Pitfall: Email verification codes often sit in spam for a long time. If you don’t find it in your inbox, check the spam folder first

⑤ Account password
▸ Interface text: Create a secure account password
▸ How to fill: Official rule is at least 8 characters, with at least 1 uppercase letter and 1 number
▸ Pitfall: Don’t use passwords from other exchanges or emails just to make it work. Generate a unique one using a password manager

⑥ Referrer (this is where you enter the code)
▸ Interface text: The page after registration will ask whether you have a referrer. In the official documentation, this item is called “Referred-by ID (optional)”
▸ How to fill: Choose “Yes”—only then will the input box for the code appear. Enter WIN98. After that, the fee will be calculated at an 80% rate.
▸ Pitfall: After the invitation code is bound to your account, it can’t be changed. Once you reach this page, fill it in right away and continue—don’t think you can change it later. If you want to avoid the hassle, just register using the invitation link; the system will carry everything automatically. You only need to check once:https://www.binance.com/zh-CN/join?ref=WIN98

📱 Differences between app registration and web registration

When registering in the app using an invite link, the system will automatically fill in the invitation code. Next to it you’ll see a green checkmark icon and【Bound】—if you see this mark, it means it’s bound and you don’t need to enter it manually. If the code shown is invalid, you can directly edit that field to change it to something else. If there’s no code, you can skip this step.

So the verification method differs between the web version and the app: On the web, check whether the characters in the input box are WIN98. In the app, it recognizes the green checkmark and【Bound】.

💰 After you enter the code, how does the money get returned?

It’s not monthly settlement and it’s not a manual request. The official mechanism is: rebates are calculated per hour and exchanged into USDC. After the exchange is completed, the corresponding amount will be transferred to your spot account within 6 hours. So you don’t need to watch it constantly—check your balance in the spot account the next day.

The path to view records is fixed: After logging in, tap【Personal Profile】→【Invitation Rewards】, or scroll to the footer and tap【Invitation Rewards】, then select【Invitation Rebate】. Records older than 7 days won’t be shown directly on the page—you need to download the detailed report to see them. Many people think the records are lost, but they’re actually in the report.

✅ Two things you must do on the day you register

▸ Bind 2FA: Go to Security Settings and bind Google Authenticator (TOTP). Relying on SMS verification alone is not enough. When binding, copy that backup key string and store it separately—if you lose your phone, that’s what you’ll use to recover
▸ Complete identity verification: If you don’t verify, you won’t be able to top up or use most features. In the app, submit as prompted. Which document types are supported depends on the options actually listed in your app—don’t prepare materials based on old screenshots from the internet

Where the verification screen is—tell us in the comments. Specify whether you’re using the web version or the app, and the exact wording shown on the interface. I’ll respond when I see it.
