The spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds listed in the United States saw inflows of capital, after recording net inflows totaling $189.3 million on Tuesday, lifting August’s total to around $951 million—putting it within reach of the $1 billion mark by the end of the month.

This increase came just one day after inflows of $297.6 million were recorded on Monday, bringing total inflows over the two days to $487 million. According to SoSoValue data, this figure represents more than half of the net inflows recorded so far this month.

Who led the daily inflows?

BlackRock, through its iShares Bitcoin Trust fund, topped the list of daily inflows by adding $143.6 million. The Fidelity fund, known as the Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund, came next with $23.9 million.

This reading comes after three consecutive sessions of net outflows between August 12 and 14, when the funds lost about $250 million. This rapid shift from outflows to inflows reflects a clear change in the pace of institutional demand over a short period.

What do the numbers mean at the market level?

On a cumulative basis, net inflows into spot Bitcoin funds in the United States have reached about $52.28 billion, while total net assets have climbed to roughly $79.3 billion. These levels are an important indicator of the extent of institutional participation in the largest digital asset by market value.

Meanwhile, spot Ether funds recorded net inflows of $71.5 million on Tuesday, bringing their August tally to around $345 million. This comparison suggests that momentum remains relatively stronger in favor of Bitcoin during the current month.

At the time of writing, the price of Bitcoin was trading around $64,234, while Ether was at $1,914. For followers, daily inflows into exchange-traded funds remain one of the most prominent practical signals of investors’ appetite, which may be reflected in price movement and its volatility in the short term.
