$XRP
#xrp After the whale trades suddenly surged by 280% following a dip below $1, the price didn’t bounce back. This divergence is worth paying attention to 👀
In the past 24 hours, large XRP transactions worth over $1 million increased by 280%, reaching more than 38 trades. Meanwhile, open interest in derivatives has also risen significantly, suggesting that large funds and leveraged capital are starting to become active again.

But here’s a key issue:
An increase in whale transactions doesn’t necessarily mean whales are buying.
Large transfers could be purchases, sales, or simply moving funds between wallets. So looking only at transaction counts can’t directly tell whether the market is bullish or bearish.
What’s most worth watching now is the price reaction.
After XRP fell below $1, the buyers haven’t temporarily pushed the price back up. This indicates that the $1 level is turning from support into short-term resistance.
Right now, look first at $1.00 to $1.05. If the price can reclaim and hold above $1.05, that would count as a fairly clear recovery signal.
Next, pay attention to the $1.16 to $1.18 area.
On the other hand, if $1 keeps failing to be reclaimed, $0.988 is the more important support level in the near term. If the daily chart effectively breaks below it, the market may continue to search for $0.95, and even the $0.85 to $0.90 region.
More interestingly, XRP open contracts on Binance are also increasing. Recently, they’ve already reached around $461 million, up significantly compared with early August.
This means leverage in the market is growing.
If the price keeps going sideways and leverage keeps stacking higher, once the market finally chooses a direction, volatility could be amplified even more by another 2.
So the real point for XRP right now isn’t whether whales are buying or selling.
It’s whether, after whale activity increases, the price can reclaim $1.
If it reclaims it, it could mean capital is starting to absorb.
If it fails to reclaim it, then be careful—these large funds may be re-positioning or even exiting.
Whales have started moving, but the direction hasn’t told the market yet.
At this moment, what’s most important is to be patient and wait for the price to give the answer 👀
