Hey everyone, selling a big P2P order (tens of millions or even hundreds of millions) is something everyone likes—especially when you’ve just cashed out a profit from some Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), or BNB. But be careful if the money hits your account like "a slow, steady drizzle"! Today we’re going to expose a sophisticated money-laundering scenario: the Split Payments Trap.
🔴 The "ask someone at home to transfer for me" scam scenario:
You open a SELL order for a large amount of BTC, ETH, or BNB worth 100,000,000 VND. The buyer’s name (KYC) on Binance is: HOANG VAN D.
After a while, your phone keeps buzzing with "Ting Ting" 3 times:
👉 +30,000,000 VND from NGUYEN VAN A
👉 +40,000,000 VND from TRAN THI B
👉 +30,000,000 VND from LE VAN C
The counterparty messages in the chat box: "Hey, our bank limit has expired. I’m asking three family members to transfer and consolidate the amount so it totals 100 million—just check and if everything matches, release the coins for me!"
You see the total amount adding up perfectly to 100 million, so you happily click "Unlock Crypto".
💔 THE UGLY TRUTH BEHIND IT:
That D is the scammer. A, B, C are not his "family members"—they’re 3 victims he tricked into buying things online. He gets these 3 people to transfer money directly into YOUR account number.
👉 Consequence: When the 3 victims file a report, the bank will immediately CLOSE the account for you because it detects scam-related incoming funds from multiple sources. The criminal grabs your precious coins and disappears, and you end up as the "final boss" washing money!
🟢 Critical rule when placing a large order:
❌ DO NOT ACCEPT payments from multiple accounts with names that do not match the KYC.
❌ DON’T BELIEVE the excuse "limit expired, card error, ask your wife/husband to transfer for you".
✅ THE TRUTH: 1 Order = 1 Sender = 100% matching of the KYC name on Binance. If there are signs of splitting from unfamiliar names, immediately keep the order as-is, do not release the coins, and press APPEAL to have Binance Customer Support help return the money to each exact source and cancel the transaction safely.
