🚨 Binance exchange froze $4.2 million in XRP after the largest hack of 2024 for $112 million from the personal wallet of the Ripple co-founder on January 31.

- Binance CEO Richard Teng announced the freezing of the attacker’s address and thanked the Ripple team for their help.

- Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen confirmed that his personal accounts were compromised, but the Ripple company was not affected.

- Hackers attempted to launder stolen funds through several exchanges, including MEXC, Gate, Binance, Kraken, OKX, HTX and HitBTC.

- Binance has frozen some of the stolen funds, but other exchanges, including OKX and Kraken, have not yet reported blocking funds related to the hack.
