ChainCatcher Message, the Zcash Foundation released its strategic priorities for 2026, which include:

1. Implementation of a unique consensus node, Zebra: Focus on improving performance, completing the NU7 ZIP implementation, and advancing the Z3 technology stack to replace zcashd;

2. Continue to promote the FROST threshold signature scheme: Plan to release version 3, finalize ZIP-312, and introduce a Distributed Key Generation (DKG) protocol;

3. Privacy Protection Assistance Initiative (SAI): Promote a 'privacy by default' digital cash assistance model and explore identity solutions based on zero-knowledge proofs, achieving a balance between compliance, accountability, and privacy protection.
