With debts of 800,000, a sudden turnaround saw me getting back on track. When Fan Zhang found me, he was weighed down by debt and abandoned by friends and even family. We managed to scrape together 1,500u to get started. After deep communication, I helped him create a rigorous roll-over (revolving) strategy. In just six months, he paid off all his debts and returned to a normal life!
He’s impulsive by nature, but he’s also a good learner—he listens and follows instructions. Otherwise, even if the best opportunity is right in front of you, you won’t be able to hold it. If you also love trading contracts, then be sure to remember the following points!
1. Trading contracts is like betting small for big. Losses are normal. But after hitting the stop-loss, you’ll see two kinds of people. Some people go crazy and place more orders after stop-loss. Others immediately enter a cooling-off period. My advice: if you experience frequent stop-losses, stay calm, pause trading for a while, and adjust your strategy.
2. Don’t chase success too quickly. Trading isn’t a way to get rich overnight. When you encounter losses, maintain a calm mindset—don’t rush to place orders, and don’t go all-in with heavy position sizing.

3. It’s important to follow the big trend. When you can tell from the chart that it’s a one-way market, you should trade with the trend—not against it. Going against the trend is the root cause of losses. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced trader, there’s often a habit of trading against the market. However, once a market trend forms, going against it usually ends terribly. So we need to learn to follow the trend and patiently wait for opportunities before taking action.

4. The win-loss ratio must be handled well; otherwise, it’s hard to make money. Keep profits as large as possible relative to losses—at least aim for a 2:1 trade before you consider opening positions.
5. Frequent trading is a major taboo in contracts. If you’re not a contracts expert, you must restrain the impulse to blindly open orders. Especially for beginners. Many beginners are full of passion for the market and always want to grab every opportunity—yet most so-called opportunities lead to losses.

6. Only make money within your understanding. This is very important.
7. Don’t hold positions through losses. Holding through losses in contracts is a huge taboo. Especially for brand-new beginners—you must set proper stop-losses. Holding through losses is the beginning of falling into a bottomless pit. Once again, don’t hold positions through losses.
8. When you’re profitable, don’t get carried away. If you get carried away, you’ll inevitably lose.
