Has the Gnosis Chain proposal to transition from L1 to Ethereum L2 been doomed?
With only 1 day left before the voting deadline, although the support rate for the GIP-153 proposal is as high as 98.5%, the Quorum progress is only 10.3%. If the last day’s block of major token holders doesn’t step in, this proposal will fail because it won’t meet the Quorum requirement.
Since this proposal was initiated by the official @gnosis_ team, I have strong reasons to suspect that large validators closely tied to the founding team are quietly monitoring the situation, and will only intervene near the deadline to satisfy the Quorum requirement.
According to Defillama data, the current TVL of Gnosis Chain is comparable to X Layer @XLayerOfficial, staying around $100M.
