Morning, August 18. Crypto is holding up, but for now there’s no strong impulse.

Total market capitalization is about $2.19T. The Fear & Greed Index is 40 out of 100. Sentiment remains cautious.

$BTC — about $64,000. As long as price holds above $63,000, the structure looks neutral-to-positive. To continue the uptrend, we need a breakout above $64,500–65,000.

$ETH — about $1,890. Nearest support is $1,880–1,885; resistance is $1,915–1,920. Ether is holding, but there isn’t yet clear strength relative to bitcoin.

$SOL — about $75.5. Of the $BTC / $ETH / $SOL trio, $SOL currently looks the weakest.

$BTC.D — about 58.8%. Bitcoin dominance remains high, so a full rotation of money into alts is not yet visible.

$USDT.D — about 8.35% and slightly declining. This is moderately positive: some capital is moving out of stablecoins back into the market.

For today, we’re watching this setup: $BTC above $64,500 + further decline in $USDT.D. In that case, alts may get room to move.

If $BTC falls back below $63,000 and $USDT.D turns upward again, it’s better not to rush with longs.
