#termmax @TermMax Today I am diving deeper into @TermMax and its fixed-rate DeFi - turning fixed-rate from a niche product into a primitive that can be attached to any strategy.

Atomic Order makes sense to me. But what really made me stop was looking at how V2 handles liquidity, idle capital and capital turnover.

I look at the actual data instead of just reading the documentation/deck.

V1 once reached a peak of more than $34 million in TVL, Pendle PT dominated in fixed-rate, while liquidity was still fragmented across each market and capital often remained idle until maturity.

Wait - product-market fit has been proven, but the architecture of fixed-rate itself is creating limits to scalability.

That is the gap that really made me think.

I am not saying TermMax is broken here.
The fixed-rate mechanism still works exactly as designed.
The question is whether V2 can actually turn fixed-rate into a composable layer or is simply making a more complex version of the same model.

What also caught my attention is the Curator Model. Curators do not just manage liquidity, but also pricing, market selection, capital allocation and risk parameters. When combined with Physical Delivery Liquidation and Permissionless Market Creation, TermMax can expand into new or less liquid assets without assuming that every collateral can be liquidated like blue-chip assets.

This makes me think of how Uniswap became a liquidity layer and Morpho became a money market layer.

V2 is trying to follow a similar direction: base yield for idle capital, Atomic Order consolidating liquidity, Smart Unwind creating secondary liquidity, while Order Aggregator makes execution more seamless.

Can TermMax turn fixed-rate into a true primitive for DeFi strategy?
Or is this simply a fixed-rate market with more layers of features?
