Over the past 24 hours, TradFi liquidation totals reached $49.75 million, across 7,214 trades. Short positions accounted for 87.6% ($43.43 million), while long positions were only $6.31 million. This isn’t a one-minute fluke—the ratio has held steady for most of the day.

One specific target, SNDK, consumed $22.94 million, or 46% of the day’s total. Of that, $20.53 million was short positions piled in one direction and buried. The second-place SpaceX synthetic shares (SPCX) was only $7.21 million—three times less than SNDK. The rally in storage chips has been more ferocious than anyone else’s; shorts in this stock suffered the worst.

The short-term picture is even more extreme: over the past hour, $15.48 million was liquidated, with shorts making up 93.3%—even more lopsided than the 87.6% over 24 hours. This suggests selling pressure over this last hour is accelerating, not easing.

Gold and silver also moved into the top ten liquidation list, with $2.19 million and $1.49 million, respectively. And it’s almost entirely shorts being beaten—this wave of safe-haven assets has buyers winning; every short has been buried.

One stock nearly captured close to half of the U.S. stock liquidation “share.” Shorts keep getting hit repeatedly but don’t pull out—either they’re stubbornly holding on waiting for a reversal, or the strength of this rally has been seriously underestimated.
