2,000,000 VND per order. The bank confirmed that the money was received. I thought everything was done... until I looked closely at the notification.
+2,000 VND.
Yeah, only two thousand dong đ
This is a case I encountered when selling USDT via Binance P2P.
The buyer marked âPaidâ. Then, in the chat, they sent a transfer screenshot showing 2,000,000 VND and urged me to unlock the USDT.
At that time, there were 3 pieces of information in front of me:
P2P order: 2,000,000 VND
The buyerâs sent screenshot: 2,000,000 VND
My bank: +2,000 VND
Only three zeros different, but the outcome is completely different.
I didnât release.
I also didnât try to argue whether that transfer screenshot was real or fake. I checked my bank transaction history again, kept the original Order ID + the chat snippet, and asked Binance Support to help handle it.
This case made me change a habit when selling P2P:
Buyer clicks âPaidâ â I record it.
Buyer sends the transfer screenshot â I refer to it.
The banking app shows the amount actually received â I verify it.
For me, only the final step determines when the USDT gets released.
If you run into this exact situation, whatâs the first thing you would do?
