WHY DOES BINANCE P2P ALWAYS REQUIRE CHECKING THE ACCOUNT NAME BEFORE SENDING MONEY?

Many newcomers to P2P find this step a bit bothersome: “I already have an account number—why not transfer right away to save time?” 😅

Actually, checking the recipient’s name before you transfer is one of the small but very important steps.

Before you hit “Transfer,” check 3 things:👀
1️⃣ Recipient name: Match the bank account name with the payment information shown on the P2P order.
2️⃣ Amount: Make sure the transferred amount is exactly the same as the order amount—don’t change it on your own.
3️⃣ Payment information

If the account information is different from the order or the other party asks you to transfer to a different account → stop and double-check first.

🚨 If the other party messages: “Please transfer to this account for me,” but that account doesn’t match the information on the order → don’t follow it and report right away.

Keep the conversation on Binance and handle things according to the order procedure.

Safe P2P isn’t about making the transaction as fast as possible. It’s about transacting with the right person → the right account → the right amount → the right process. 🔐
