🚨 ANOTHER KYC / CUSTOMER DATA LEAK — SAFEPAL
SafePal confirms that a vulnerability in an order-tracking plug-in led to unauthorized access to information from approximately 39,798 customers.
The affected orders fall within the period 02/03/2025 → 11/04/2026.
The following information may have been exposed:
📛 Name
📧 Email
🏠 Shipping address
📱 Phone number
📦 Purchase details
Key point: seed phrases, private keys, and wallet passwords are NOT affected. SafePal also states the incident is not related to bank accounts, card numbers, or government IDs.
SafePal wallet: “Your crypto is safe.” ✅
Order-tracking plugin: “But I know where you live.” 💀
And here’s the more concerning part: once the shipping address + phone + email + purchase history are leaked, attackers can use them to carry out targeted phishing or impersonation.
SafePal says it has fixed the vulnerability, added security measures, and sent separate emails to affected customers.
