📰 Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko noted in a post on Reddit that recent update testing has been "very successful," noting Ethereum developers' successful Sepolia fork on January 30 and the Holesky testnet update on February 7. The Dencun update is seen as a major update that will allow de-staking in Ethereum and enable more institutional investors to participate in Ethereum. 😎

“If everything goes well by then, we will pick the mainnet fork time at next week's ACDC,” Beiko said. Christine Kim, Vice President of Research at Galaxy Digital, stated that "there is an 80% probability that the Dencun mainnet will be activated by the end of March, but the probability of it coming online by the end of February is low, closer to 40%."
