#英伟达披露持股SpaceX210亿美元及英特尔300亿美元

Did Nvidia suddenly become a major shareholder in SpaceX?

The latest data shows Nvidia holds about 122.8 million shares of SpaceX. By the end of Q2, the value was about $21 billion, making it the company’s second-largest single equity holding.

But I think the key point isn’t really the $21 billion. Nvidia previously invested in xAI. As xAI was merged into SpaceX, that investment ultimately turned into a stake in SpaceX shares: $SPCX $NVDA.

Nvidia is starting to move upstream in the AI industry, rather than just selling GPUs.

Sell GPUs → customers build data centers → Nvidia takes a stake → customers keep buying GPUs.

This is essentially an AI capital loop that keeps getting more complete.

SpaceX’s Q2 revenue already reached $7.8 billion, nearly doubling year over year. Revenue related to AI is growing even faster.

So what I care about isn’t how much more SpaceX can rise, but whether Nvidia will keep replicating this kind of model. If AI capex continues to expand, this playbook will get bigger and bigger.

However, once AI financing cools off, Nvidia would shift from being just a shovel-seller to also bearing industrial valuation volatility. That may be the part of this investment that’s truly worth paying attention to.
