According to reports from Cointelegraph, in 2026’s second quarter, the firm significantly increased its holdings of Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs. In terms of specific figures, JPMorgan’s allocation to spot Bitcoin ETFs continued to expand. The second-quarter holdings of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) reached approximately 10.4 million shares, up about 25% from 8.3 million shares in the first quarter, with a reported total value of about $356 million.
As for Ethereum, the increase is even more astonishing. Data shows that JPMorgan’s holdings of BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) surged more than fourfold from about 267,000 shares in the first quarter to about 1.17 million shares by the end of the second quarter.$BTC #全球股市逼近历史高位
However, analysts specifically caution that these filing figures include client positions and do not disclose short positions, so they should not be directly interpreted as JPMorgan’s bullish signals for the crypto market.
