🚨 Ethereum ETFs outperform Bitcoin for the first time in history

The ETF$ETH funds recorded monthly inflows of $365 million, surpassing the $BTC ETF funds — the first time this has happened since the launch of spot crypto funds. At the same time, BTC funds recorded their lowest inflows in a long time.

Why this isn’t just a passing coincidence:
There are four factors overlapping at the same time: staking yields on ETH, greater regulatory clarity in Ethereum’s favor, increasing institutional positioning, and record inflows. This combination hasn’t happened before — meaning if another month continues in the same direction, the “rotation” narrative from BTC to ETH becomes more credible, not just hype.

The broader context:
Meanwhile, BTC ETFs saw their strongest week of inflows since April ($853.5 million) after BTC broke through the $65,000 barrier — meaning they may not necessarily be competing with each other. There could be new institutional liquidity entering the market overall, not only rotating from one coin to another.

ETH/BTC ratio is the real indicator:
If the ratio continues to rise, that’s additional confirmation that ETH is outperforming BTC not only by flows. One month is still not enough to confirm a lasting trend.

Setup (Conviction: medium — watch next August inflow data for confirmation):
Monitor ETF flow data for August. If ETH maintains its lead over BTC in inflows for a second consecutive month, the rotation narrative gains real credibility and is worth taking a position. One month is still a potentially coincidental move.
