WIN is sometimes introduced as a “governance token,” but in the latest official Whitepaper it explains that, at this time, decentralized governance using WIN has not yet been implemented
And starting in Q3 2026, a new WIN buyback program will also begin
The policy is to use 100% of WINkLink’s oracle service revenue for quarterly WIN buybacks, and to burn the WIN that has been repurchased
The first burn is scheduled for mid-October 2026
