5 mistakes of "losing money like it’s nothing" when trading on Binance P2P

P2P trading is very convenient, but even a one-minute moment of inattention can get you into trouble with your bank account or allow scammers to take advantage of you. Below are the 5 most common mistakes that beginners should avoid:

1. Don’t check the banking app before releasing the coins

Many users have the habit of only looking at SMS notifications about balance changes or a buyer’s screenshot, then pressing Open Unlock/Confirm to receive the money. Scammers can completely fake SMS or Photoshop transfer proof.

How to avoid: Be required to open your banking app, check that your real balance has increased, and only then release the coins.

2. Use someone else’s bank account (Third-party account)

Transferring money to or receiving money from an account that doesn’t match the name on your Binance nickname will cause the transaction to be put on hold. Even worse, you may accidentally get involved in “money laundering” networks and have your bank account frozen.

How to avoid: Only trade using your own primary bank account.

3. Enter “sensitive” transfer content

Writing words like USDT, BTC, Binance, Crypto, Buy coin... in the transfer description triggers the bank’s scanning system and locks your online transfer feature immediately.

How to avoid: Only write the Order ID or an accent-free name as required by the seller.

4. Click “Cancel Order” after you’ve transferred the money

If you’ve clicked to transfer VND in your banking app, but then go back to Binance and click Cancel, the system will automatically release the coins to the seller and you will lose all the transferred money.

How to avoid: If you’ve transferred the money, DO NOT click Cancel. Click “Money transferred, notify the user
