Clicking “Completed” doesn’t mean I stop managing risk.
Before, I thought: money in → release crypto → done.
Now I split every P2P transaction into 3 stages:
1️⃣ BEFORE THE TRANSACTION → CHECK
I review the completion rate, order history, payment information, and the terms.
2️⃣ BEFORE RELEASE → VERIFY
The buyer saying “I’ve paid” isn’t enough.
I open my banking app myself, check the correct amount + the correct sender + the correct transaction, and only then release.
There’s a difference between:
“Money has arrived.”
and
“The correct money for this specific order has arrived.”
3️⃣ AFTER THE TRANSACTION → KEEP RECORDS
I retain the Order ID, chat history, and payment details.
If there’s an issue a few days later, I want evidence to cross-check—not just my memory.
My rule:
Check → Verify → Keep records.
The screen may say “Completed.”
