Analyzed SPCX this afternoon. This kind of rally basically seems to be at the top now. I had previously predicted it would be around 150, and I entered a short at 148.41.
How is this kind of measurement/calculation done? Musk once called out Dogecoin—the price of Dogecoin then jumped more than 100x. After that, he kept getting my attention for Dogecoin and for his calls. I observed the volatility of Musk’s call on Dogecoin, and then added calculations of changes in market capitalization. After following it for all these years, you can basically estimate it.
SPCX’s logic is the same as Dogecoin’s. At around 104, that was where it was at about 8.3, and Musk started calling it out. But the reason it’s different is that SPCX’s scale is far larger than Dogecoin’s. Still, the calculation logic is the same: through technical analysis and calculations, around 150 is a turning point.
Honestly, with such a huge market cap, SPCX moves like an altcoin—too fast. It reminded me of a day when I entered a trade for 3 minutes and it dropped 10 points. It scared me so badly that I quickly closed it. Take profit and lock it in!
Around 7 p.m. I didn’t see the chart. After 9 p.m. one of my students told me they entered around 633. I said, “Sure—go ahead.” You guys can trade on your own; not bad, not bad. We chatted about where BTC like that kind of surge could go. I said the extreme could reach 646. I expected that the big whale’s 130 million would get blown up, roughly around tomorrow morning at about 8 a.m. If it’s fast, then the market-maker in the evening/after-hours session might pull it up and blow him out. But be careful—BTC could also just drop straight down. Just make sure your defense is in place.
I saw them all pretty happy, because they can make money on their own!
My requirements for students:
1. No saying you’re a “newbie / greenhorn” (i.e., a chump). If you’re a greenhorn, you’re the one who gets cut, tricked, and sold.
2. No trading based on gut feelings. Trades based on gut feel can’t be replicated—you must have a clear buy/sell logic.
3. No saying you’re stupid. There are no stupid BTB research-and-investment students. You can’t have that kind of self-suggested mindset. BTB Invest & Research is like a Whampoa Military Academy for crypto circles; the school trains you with the mentality of producing general-level trading players.
4. No asking me to treat you to meals, sing karaoke, or buy you cigarettes! You’re not allowed to do those things until you’ve learned and can’t make money—unless you can profit and also be able to withdraw.
5. No futures/contracts! If you choose to trade with your own risk and profit, and you lose, then I won’t manage it.
6. No saying “I don’t know.” If you learn it, you must know it. If you forget, you can say you didn’t remember—I’ll teach it again once more.
