#美国7月CPI与PPI数据本周出炉 🔥 CPI cools down, but don't celebrate with champagne yet

The US July CPI is out: year-over-year 3.4%, down from June's 3.5%; core CPI year-over-year 2.5%, month-over-month 0.2%.

The data isn't explosive, but at least it doesn't give the Fed more reasons to keep tightening.

More interestingly, market expectations for a September rate hike have clearly cooled off. In the US stock market, funds are starting to rotate back into high-beta areas like AI infrastructure, chips, and optical communications. The Nasdaq is also noticeably outperforming the Dow.

In this round, what’s truly worth watching isn't just CPI—it’s tonight’s PPI.

If PPI continues to deliver moderate signals, then the chain of “inflation → rate hikes → pressure on risk assets” will loosen further, giving growth stocks, AI, and crypto assets room to breathe.

But if PPI suddenly fights back, the market may have to reprice again.

So it's not time to blindly go long yet.

CPI blows the warm wind; PPI is the second test tonight.
