The topic #USJulyCPI&PPIDueThisWeek is trending, and it’s not by chance.
Today the US CPI is released, and tomorrow we’ll learn the PPI.
But here’s what’s important:
👉 You don’t need to be an economist to understand why this data can matter for Bitcoin.
The CPI measures how the prices consumers are paying are evolving.
When a piece of data comes in different from what the market expected, traders can quickly change their expectations.
And that can increase BTC volatility.
🧒 I’ll explain it simply:
Imagine that Bitcoin is walking toward a door.
🚪 The news = the door
BTC reaches an important zone.
So we have two possibilities:
📈 Breaks the zone and stays above it
→ it may be showing strength.
📉 It reaches the zone and rejects
→ selling pressure may appear.
That’s why, when important news comes out, it’s not just about saying:
❌ “The CPI will be good → I buy BTC.”
The right question is:
What does BTC do after receiving the news?
🎯 My promise:
If you’re just starting in trading, after reading this post I want you to be able to look at a BTC move and ask yourself:
Is it breaking a resistance?
Is it getting rejected?
Is it reacting at support?
That’s much more useful than trying to guess the next move.
🛡️ First observe. Then analyze. And only then decide if it makes sense to enter.
What do you think a beginner trader should do when an important data release comes out?
A) Enter immediately because there will be a lot of movement.
B) Wait and observe how BTC reacts.
C) Don’t look at the price and enter based on intuition.
👇 Write A, B, or C and explain why.
