A new big brother just starting out in the Crypto market thanks to me recording exactly what I check before every Binance P2P order. I think I should just write down my habits exactly as they are, without embellishing for the sake of being prettier.

First, I open the Binance app and look at the main platform. I trade on Binance P2P because transactions have escrow, there’s an order history, and there’s an appeal mechanism if any issues arise, but these layers don’t stop me from checking everything myself.
Before placing an order, I check the counterparty profile, the completion rate, and the number of transactions. I don’t consider a new account to be automatically dangerous; I just slow down a beat when the profiles have less data so I can double-check more carefully.

During the transaction, I keep all communication in the Binance P2P chat. If someone suggests moving to Telegram, WhatsApp, or another channel, I stop. For me, it’s no longer a matter of convenience or inconvenience.

At the release step, I directly check the bank account. I don’t rely on screenshots or notifications sent through chat. I compare the actual received amount and the payer’s information before moving on.

After the transaction, I keep the order information and the necessary evidence. If anything is unclear, I choose to ask by messaging Binance P2P support so I can wait for help instead of guessing.

Looking back, these steps don’t take much time. What I care about more is maintaining them even when the trade is going smoothly.
