Hypothetical scenario: The buyer claims they have transferred money, but you haven’t received it yet
You are selling USDT on Binance P2P. After placing the order, the buyer messages that they have made the bank transfer and sends a screenshot showing a successful transaction. This person repeatedly asks you to quickly confirm that you have received the money.
Safe handling:
Do not rely on screenshots. Open your banking app yourself and check the actual transaction.
If you don’t see the money credited to your account, under no circumstances confirm that you have received it and do not release the USDT.
If the buyer continues to pressure you, ask to move the conversation to Telegram or Zalo, or propose carrying out a different transaction other than the current order—stop.
In case you can’t resolve it, use the Appeal feature on Binance P2P and provide all relevant evidence.
Most important point: Others may say they have paid, but only after you personally check and confirm that the money has actually been credited to your account should you complete the transaction.
